Gary b.b. Coleman was destined to become one of the legendary Blues singer/guitar slingers to emerge from the Delta region. Just as he was beginning to recieve national recognition, his untimely death in 1994 ended his career. In the past he produced albums for blues stalwarts, Little Johnny Taylor, Chick Willis, Buster Benton, the Legendary Blues band, Travis Haddix and many others. He focused all this experience to produce his own project, "Cocaine Annie", the best album of his career. An extremely talented songwriter, Gary wrote or co-wrote eight of the songs on this recording. To round out the album he covered the Albert King standards, Personal Manager and Answer to Laundrymat Blues, plus Lowell Fulsom's classic, Sleeper. These eleven songs are the last tracks ever recorded by Gary b.b. Coleman whose obvious talent is well represented here on this last "testament" of a great Bluesman.
